About The Position
ViaQuest is seeking individuals to provide a safe, supportive, and private home environment for an adult with a developmental disability. As a Shared Living Provider, you will assist with daily living tasks, encourage independence through skill development, and coordinate medical appointments and social activities. This role involves keeping simple daily records and communicating with ViaQuest staff, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact from your own home.
Requirements
- Caregiving experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license, reliable insured vehicle, and good driving record
- Clean background checks
- Home that meets safety requirements (home assessment required)
- Home insurance
Responsibilities
- Provide a private bedroom and a safe, supportive home environment for an adult with a developmental disability.
- Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and transportation.
- Encourage independence through skill development and guidance.
- Schedule and attend medical appointments and social activities.
- Keep simple daily records and communicate with ViaQuest staff.
