About The Position
Hog Slat, Inc., the world’s leading provider of parts, equipment and turn-key construction to the swine & poultry industries is seeking a Shag Truck Driver for our Humboldt, IA location.
Requirements
- Must have a current/valid medical card or possess the ability to obtain one
- Must comply with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Regulations
- Class A CDL is required
- Approved safe driving record
- Necessary to have some mechanical aptitude
Nice To Haves
- Flexible to work in house when no driving is needed
- Minimum of 3 yrs experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Ability to perform pre-trip inspection to ensure product is secured correctly
- Ensure safe operation of the Shag Truck on and off company property
- Spot van and flatbed trailers in various yards, docks and pits
- Assist with loading trailers with product and prepping freight for shipment
- Operate a straight truck to move freight between warehouse locations
- Use of basic hand tools is a must
- Be professional and courteous at all times
