About The Position

As our Shag Driver, you will be responsible for moving and maneuvering trailers and containers into position for the package handling operations. Make deliveries or shuttles of product between OTC facilities, via the tractor truck, as needed. This is not an over the road position, this is local travel between buildings in the Omaha area. A valid CDL A is required. Shift: 10am-6:30pm.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Pass standard DOT physical and drug screen recertification.
A valid CDL A license and driving record in accordance with OTC standards.
Average reading ability.
Basic counting and mathematical skills.
Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team environment.
Ability to respond with flexibility to changing work demands.
Ability to walk and/or stand for the duration of the shift.
Ability to squat and/or bend frequently.
Ability to reach overhead to 72” with both arms.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
Ability to occasionally lift 75 lbs.
Ability to occasionally push/pull totes and rolling carts with up to 50 lbs of force.
Ability to work in elevated work areas up to 28 feet high.
Ability to occasionally climb stairs and frequently utilize step stools to access assigned work zones and product.

Responsibilities

Moving and maneuvering trailers and containers into position for package handling operations.
Making deliveries or shuttles of product between OTC facilities via tractor truck.
Complying with all OTC company policies and safe driving methods.
Demonstrating cognitive abilities by following directions and routines.
Identifying logical connections, determining sequence of response, and planning/thinking ahead.
Operating both standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
Grassing, reaching, and maintaining control of equipment and accessories associated with assigned tasks such as coupling, uncoupling, and driving.
Exhibiting spatial awareness.
Communicating using mobile communication devices.
Maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
Performing all required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of all vehicles.
