About The Position

The Shaft Pusher is responsible for the safe, continuous operation of a die cast machine to consistently produce high quality aluminum parts as measured by specific production targets. This position operates on a Monday to Thursday schedule with 10-hour weekly rotating shifts, including days (7:00 am - 5:00 pm) and afternoons (5:00 pm - 3:00 am).

Requirements

• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to change.
• Problem solving & troubleshooting skills.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Strong hand/eye coordination.
• Detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

• 1 - 4 years die cast experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the safe continuous operation of a die cast machine.
• Ensure consistent quality as it relates to specified production performance targets per hour.
• Accurate record-keeping/documentation (pre-start safety checks, production, daily scrap, downtime, etc.).
• Housekeeping of work area; keeping it clean and free of debris to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
