About The Position

You’ll be responsible for supervision of the Student Government Association (SGA), Student Benefit Fund (SBF), and voting services, in compliance with government and management directives. MTC is proud to operate the Sierra Nevada Job Corps Center in Reno, NV where our staff provide quality services to our local youth. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and one (1) year related experience required.
• Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal educational requirement.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record. Commercial driver license (CDL) with passenger's endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise SGA, which includes maintaining communication with administration, schedule and supervise meetings, and guide development of skills of student government.
• Supervise student union snack bar operators and overall operation of student union snack bar.
• Chaperone student government functions and prepare and distribute meeting minutes.
• Coordinate quarterly graduations.
• Conduct training for all newly elected officers.
• Continuously review and update leadership curriculum. Conduct advanced leadership training.
