About The Position

Responsible for completing detailed and itemized material quantity estimates from owner or contractor furnished plan sets. This role involves determining accurate quantities of related materials as measured from provided plan sets, identifying required materials for facility construction, and researching plans and specifications to determine any special material requirements. The position also includes procuring, picking up, and returning plan sets, communicating with design engineers or owners to clarify material issues, and determining if supplied materials meet local/state/federal specifications. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• BS/BA in a related discipline.
• 0-2 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and 0-1 year of experience in a related field.
• Skill in data analysis and techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in routine research/data.
• General supervision; exercises judgment.
• May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support personnel.
