Requirements

Professional work experience.
Domestic straight stitch sewing machine experience.
Written and verbal communication skills.
Must be 18 years of age.
Able to work legally in the USA.
Comfortable traveling for events or stores for in-the-moment sewing for guests.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with a Consew industrial straight stitch sewing machine.
Experience with post or cylinder bed sewing machine or industrial machine.

Responsibilities

Fulfill custom orders from store teams and special brand projects by sewing digitally embroidered patches onto luggage accessories.
Sew custom projects onto luggage accessories with speed and accuracy.
Meet daily sewing targets and communicate any reasons for not meeting goals.
Adjust layout and line up patches onto accessories based on invoice pictures or instructions, demonstrating a meticulous eye for detail.
Assist in customization by laying out customized designs before sewing.
Check inventory sheets for accuracy of customized designs pre- and post- sewing.
Clean up after projects, customization, and sewing.
Communicate supply needs, ideas for efficiency and accuracy, repeat damages, or anything to improve the sewing process.
Travel to events or stores to provide in-the-moment sewing for guests.
Perform other assigned office and/or retail duties.
