About The Position

This role involves operating sewing machines, requiring knowledge of materials and machine adjustments. The operator is responsible for quality control, safety procedures, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Two (2) years work-related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must possess knowledge using hand tools.
• Demonstrate basic mathematical, reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills.
• Demonstrate a strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrate the capacity to shift priorities.
• Ability to work closely and effectively with all employees and management staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform set-up and adjustments on machines, including winding bobbins and replacing needles.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of materials required for sewing operations.
• Set-up and adjust sewing machines.
• Be alert for in-process product imperfections and report them to the supervisor or lead.
• Exercise safety procedures to prevent injury and equipment damage.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
