About The Position

Drive Medical is a leading manufacturer of medical products with a strong and consistent track record of growth. They are currently hiring for an industrial sewing machine operator to join their team. The role involves operating and tending to an industrial sewing machine to sew hospital mattresses in a manufacturing environment. The schedule is Monday-Friday from 7am to 3:30pm, with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
• Able to keep up with daily quota.
• Able to stand and perform stand up sewing in a manufacturing setting.
• Be able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate an industrial sewing machine to sow hospital mattresses.
• Carry, push, and pull materials up to 30lbs.
• Thread machine, change needles and adjust tension as required.
• Perform sewing functions in a precise and timely manner.
• Meet company quality and production standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
