About The Position

This position involves operating various sewing machines to join, gather, hem, or reinforce articles. The role requires pressing knee levers, depressing pedals, or moving hand levers to raise the presser foot, and positioning parts under the presser foot and needle before lowering it. The operator will start, stop, and control machine speed, perform complex sewing operations requiring product and/or machine knowledge, and observe stitching to detect defects.

Responsibilities

• Perform sewing operations that require a complex combination of product and/or machine knowledge.
