Requirements

At least 4 years experience in sewer/water install and machine operation.
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and techniques
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

trade school or certification a plus

Responsibilities

Responsible for every aspect of excavation to include correct installation, time management, and materials.
Act as lead on jobsite giving direction to all members of crew.
Coordinate work with Estimator prior to beginning of the job.
Adhere to all safety policies and protocol.
Keep accurate inventory of both truck stock and items used on job site.
Confirm customer is completely satisfied and signature is obtained before leaving the work premises.
Collect balance due for job from the customer.
Complete Competent Person OSHA checklist and Daily Truck Walk Around forms on tablet daily.
Communicate potential issues to both estimator and supervisor immediately.
Operate vehicle in safe and courteous manner
Ensure safety best practices are followed in the field.
Other duties as assigned.
