About The Position

Seven-Gang Mower Operator positions operate seven-gang hydraulic riding mowers and other various mowing equipment to mow golf course fairways and parks; adjust, maintain, and repair cutting units; perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on assigned equipment; act as crew leader; operate large truck-trailer combinations to haul mowers and other equipment; keep mileage and service records; and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

One year of full-time experience operating and maintaining self-propelled three, five or seven gang-reeled ride-on mowers or wide area rotary mowers (11-foot or larger)
Qualifying experience MUST include performing repair, maintenance, and adjustment of cutting units AND minor repair and preventive maintenance on equipment
A valid California Class C Driver License may be required at the time of hire
Some positions will require a Class A Driver License
A valid California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) medical certificate dated within the last two years at the time of hire for those driving truck-trailer combinations to haul mowers and other equipment
