About The Position

The Setup Machinist will be responsible for running multiple machines simultaneously, setting up machines independently using setup sheets, and running first pieces to confirm parts meet print specifications. This role involves inspecting parts to tight tolerances and quality standards, following established programs, and supporting daily production in a regulated manufacturing environment. The machinist will operate and support CNC machines producing high-precision medical device components, read blueprints, use precision measuring equipment, and troubleshoot basic issues to avoid machine crashes.

Requirements

• Experience with Mazak (Integrex, 5-axis) or Star Swiss machines
• Experience supporting changeovers and production
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Must be able to operate multiple machines simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude

Responsibilities

• Running multiple machines simultaneously
