The Setup Lead provides leadership that fosters teamwork while coordinating daily activities; can perform the functions of the Setup Team; fills in for technical supervision as needed. This role ensures that work orders are created and managed in NexGen, parts are consumed and documented correctly, and pre-shift stretches are conducted. The Setup Lead also conducts shift start-up meetings, assigns job duties, and ensures setups are performed safely and efficiently without sacrificing personnel safety for manufacturing efficiency. They are responsible for ensuring equipment repairs are done correctly and documented, keeping management informed of production issues, and maintaining the overall safety and cleanliness of their shift's work areas, including the heater prep area, parts crib, and manufacturing equipment, ensuring SQF compliance. The role requires regular and consistent attendance and adherence to EH&S policies, including reporting unsafe conditions, attending training, and practicing safe work habits. Product safety and quality standards, GMPs, and SQF requirements must be followed.
