About The Position

The Settlement Analyst is responsible for assigning payments to drivers (Independent Contractors or Employees) for completing a customer order. This role provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The position will be responsible for processing daily billing for assigned customers and either assist with or perform payroll functions.

Requirements

Proven payroll experience, preferably in a Transportation or Logistics environment.
Ability to learn and use multiple systems, with TMW experience being a plus.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Intermediate skills in Excel, including the ability to create and manage spreadsheets.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Review and enter driver settlement pay items accurately and timely.
Process and maintain referral and sign-on bonuses for drivers, as well as other miscellaneous deductions.
Prepare terminal manager approvals for driver settlements.
Import pay information into TMW for driver settlements.
Run various audits to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
Perform daily fuel imports and audits to maintain accurate records.
Communicate effectively with various departments to ensure accurate results and resolve any discrepancies.
Research and resolve any pay issues promptly and efficiently.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.
Assist with or perform payroll functions as needed.
Other duties as assigned by the current manager.
