About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the venue and assisting with setup duties. The Set Up team member will interact politely and courteously with fellow employees and supervisors to ensure gracious hospitality. This position plays a key role in preparing the venue for service and maintaining its appearance throughout the day.

Requirements

  • Tao Group Hospitality in-venue Set-up training.
  • Previous hospitality experience preferred.
  • Previous Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge preferred.
  • Ability to write and verbally communicate.
  • Must be able to move quickly.
  • Must be able to push and lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, and smoke, the severity of which depends upon the guest volume.
  • Office, Casino, Nightclub, Bar, Lounge, and/or Restaurant working Environment.
  • Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.

  • May work extended hours, irregular shifts, evening and/or weekend shifts, and holiday work may be required.
  • Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance, adhering to Company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of venue floors, tables and set up duties.
  • Interact with fellow employees, and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality.
  • Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Tao Group Hospitality Employee Handbook.
  • Support the dining room/lounge employees in accommodating the needs of the guests.
  • Maintain general cleanliness of station and entire venue.
  • Comply with Department of Health and company sanitation standards.
  • Understand how to graciously direct guests to different areas of the venue.
  • Navigate and understand flow of service as it relates to the floor plan.
  • Maintain upkeep of restrooms when bathroom attendants are not scheduled.
  • Properly equip yourself for the shift, and other opening/closing procedures as directed by management, including: A clean mop, broom, dustpan, scraper, and spill troll.
  • Perform opening side-work as prescribed.
  • Perform closing side-work as prescribed.
  • Report all breakage, damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.
  • Attend and participate in any training sessions or departmental meetings.
  • Learn by listening, observing other team members and sharing knowledge while leading by example.
  • Portray a positive and professional attitude.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality, its partners and supporting hotel environments.
  • Work as part of a team and provide help and support to all fellow team members.
