The Set-Up Technicians efficiently and safely work on various production equipment. The employee in this position would be expected to work hands on to help tear down and put back together tooling and equipment. They must follow detailed instructions given by the Plant and Production Manager on which lines to work on and change over. This role is based out of our Fort Pierce, FL location. We are seeking an upbeat individual with a keen eye for detail and a positive demeanor. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Minimum 18 years of age
High school education, or equivalency is desired
Knowledge and experience in maintenance or car repair
At least 1 year in maintenance preferred
Verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Teamworking skills
Ability to work independently
Organizational Skills
Multitasking skills

Nice To Haves

Experience working with and on Extruders is a plus

Responsibilities

Position equipment, tooling and adjustments to achieve proper product dimensions.
Ensure mechanical operations, standards and controls are maintained at high quality.
Show expertise in working with team and independently.
Repair and perform preventive maintenance as per established standards.
Use hand tools like power tools daily.
Handle simple and complex heavy industrial equipment like saws, pullers and bellers.
Working around and with equipment that is heated to 350 degrees
Using tools to ensure quality of product is met
Perform other duties as assigned.
