About The Position

This position requires a mechanically inclined individual with experience in a manufacturing or mechanical environment. The employee will undergo specialized training to evaluate their ability to perform duties, followed by on-the-job training. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance on molds and related peripherals, safely installing and removing molds from injection molding machines, preparing and submitting daily logs and repair requests, and assisting with tasks related to the 5S Checklist. The role also involves adhering to company, safety, and department policies, maintaining a clean working environment, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Mechanically Inclined
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and machinery.
• Basic mathematical skills are required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with Managers and supervisors.
• Forklift experience.
• Ability to trouble shoot and problem-solve.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing background in Injection Molding.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on molds and related peripherals.
• Safely install and remove molds from injecting molding machine according to the working procedures and 5’s checklist.
• Prepare and submit Daily Log sheet, MRR (Mold Repair Request) and PM (Preventive maintenance request) as required in a clear and concise manner.
• Assist in performing all tasks related to the 5S Checklist, utilizing the application aforementioned production peripherals.
• Adheres to approved Company, Safety, and Department policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned or are not included here but are within the context of duties defined.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
