About The Position

SARSTEDT is seeking a Secondary Operations Technician for the 1st shift. This role involves hands-on work with advanced equipment in a clean, state-of-the-art manufacturing environment. The technician will be responsible for setting up and adjusting production and printing equipment, troubleshooting machinery issues, ensuring product quality, performing preventative maintenance, and documenting repair needs. The position emphasizes a mechanical mindset, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and cleanliness. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Certification in Mechanics, Electronics, or a related technical field (ideal), or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work 1st shift (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday-Friday/some Saturdays).
  • Physically able to lift up to 25 lbs. (regularly) and 50+ lbs. (occasionally).
  • Comfortable working with production equipment and machinery with moderate noise.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in various environments for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up and adjusting production and printing equipment based on the production schedule.
  • Troubleshooting issues and restarting machinery when alarms or problems occur.
  • Checking printed products and making adjustments to ensure standards are met.
  • Cleaning equipment and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Documenting maintenance needs and required repairs.
  • Maintaining a safe and orderly work environment.
