About The Position

Essential job functions:

Sets up and runs machines per job specification and blueprint (wire type, dimensions, quantity of parts needed and tooling requirements) in order to meet production needs.
Installs necessary tooling and sets correct speed and feed rates.
Uses technical and mechanical skills this individual monitors, analyzes, diagnoses and repairs machine problems.
Properly maintains equipment and tooling.
Performs routine and preventative maintenance to machines.
Follows company safety and PPE policies while recommending improvements as they are identified.
Visually inspect parts.
Report any problems or concerns to team lead.
Completion of required daily documentation.
Assure good housekeeping and workstation is clean.
Maintaining all safety and employee policies and report any infractions or concerns to management.

Requirements

• Able to work flexible hours and overtime when required to meet customer demand.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use standard tools and devices like micrometers, calipers and comparators.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing.
• Experience operating a variety of small hand tools.
