About The Position

Manitowoc Pattern & Machining (MP&M) is looking for skilled machinists who take pride in their work. This full-time, 2nd shift position operates from 3 PM to 1 AM, Monday through Thursday, offering every weekend as a 3-day weekend. The role involves setting up CNC machining centers from blueprint to the first good part, building and modifying toolpaths, optimizing tooling, feeds, and speeds, and troubleshooting setups. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys solving complex machining problems and improving processes, rather than just operating a machine.

Requirements

Ability to set up CNC machining centers from blueprint to first good part
Proficiency in building and modifying toolpaths
Skill in optimizing tooling, feeds, and speeds
Ability to read blueprints and process sheets
Capability to troubleshoot setups on the fly
Experience working directly with engineers on tooling and design improvements
