About The Position

Small Business Lending LLC is looking to add a Servicing Officer to its team. The Servicing Officer will be responsible for supporting borrowers as assigned. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of banking services/products, and a commitment to delivering a positive customer experience.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in banking, financial services, or a call center/customer service environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of loan servicing processes and financial regulations is a plus.
  • Bilingual skills (especially Spanish) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the borrower. Handle all borrower phone and correspondence inquiries
  • Processing insurance claim checks
  • Assist borrowers with servicing action requests by collecting necessary financial information and uploading information to the portal
  • Conduct annual requests for updated financial information
  • Documented quarterly contact of all borrowers in assigned portfolio
  • Monitor deposit accounts with loan customers for activation or utilization
  • Document borrower interactions and updates in Newtracker to maintain accurate records
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding bank products, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Cross-solution other Newtek services to a new or existing customer with the belief that you are creating a partnership and serving the customer by introducing them to additional products or services that assist the business owner in increasing sales, reducing expenses, and minimizing risk.
