About The Position

Insight is a Fortune 500 Solutions Integrator with deep expertise in cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, and intelligent edge, guiding organizations through complex digital decisions. The Operations Specialist role is situated within the Sustainability department, which functions as an integration and warehouse facility. This position involves working in an environment with moderate noise levels typical of a business office, including computers, phones, and printers, along with light foot traffic. Teammates are expected to be comfortable in a confined space and capable of sitting at a computer terminal for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Enter orders in a timely manner for the shipping, retrieval, and exchange of technology devices for specific accounts, while adhering to the clients Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies, proactively managing receipt dates, working with distribution employees to resolve issues regarding lost and damaged products.
  • Become an expert of information regarding specific products, programs, and initiatives of assigned vendors and product categories.
  • Work with vendors in acquiring Return Merchandise Authorization (RMAs) for damaged, unused products.
  • Manage all aspects of assigned vendors, back-orders, and estimated time of arrivals (ETA), as well as the handling and tracking of warranty claims.
  • Work with internal personnel on problems relating to parts ordering information.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate costing, classification, status of assigned products, identify billing and inventory discrepancies, and report appropriately. Work with finance to resolve any vendor issues, as necessary.
  • Manage team mailbox, ensuring emails are addressed throughout the day.
  • Answer questions internal & external re: processes, procedures, inbound/outbound shipments.
