About The Position

Baker Hughes is seeking a Services Specialist – Commissioning to join their team. This role involves taking ownership of projects to ensure success in delivering services and maintenance activities on customers' sites/properties. These activities are crucial for maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing sold or existing products. The Services Specialist will handle all aspects of testing and validation of equipment, facilities, or plants according to design objectives and specifications for operational use. Key responsibilities include communicating findings and recommendations through reports and verbal communication, maintaining the calibration of specialized tools, managing standardized project processes and guidelines, relaying and implementing updated processes and procedures, and working within predefined contracts and frameworks.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience with field maintenance ideally in an industrial environment.
Mechanically inclined in personal and professional experience.
Able to travel 65-80% of the time both by vehicle and air travel depending on location.
Computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office suite and Windows Operating Systems.
Valid work authorization in the country of employment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, applied engineering or technology.

Responsibilities

Handling all activities related to the testing and validation of equipment, facility, or plant in accordance with the design objectives or specifications for operational use.

Relaying and implementing the processes and procedures that are frequently updated by other functions.

Responsible for all resources and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' sites/properties.
