About The Position

The Services Consultant will grow WWT's Services business by leading the services sales process for assigned accounts and regions, including development of our services business, scoping new work with clients, preparing budgets and pricing, creating and delivering proposals and statements of work, actively driving closure of opportunities with our account teams, and coordinating smooth transitions of awarded engagements from the sales phase to the service delivery phase. WWT's Services business consists of (but are not limited to) the following services offerings: Advisory, Lab, Supply Chain, Deployment, Strategic Staffing, Lifecycle and AppDev services. Technology areas where services are offered include: Collaboration, Data & AI, Hybrid Cloud, Network, Storage, Compute, Security, Infrastructure Modernization & Automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ leadership experience in Professional Services.
  • Experience in creating and supporting various services business models, delivery models and partnering arrangements, including Professional Services, Managed Services, Cloud Services, Staffing Services, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience crafting win/win solutions with customers, sales and services delivery organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading through influence in matrixed organizations.
  • Strong organizational skills (PMP or PM experience).
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to tactfully and professionally address sensitive and complex issues.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to speak at the executive level and build relationships.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes. Demonstrated ability to create pro forms, track project metrics, forecast future trends and manage change.
  • Strong understanding of contract processes. Demonstrated ability to manage contract modifications and take the lead on negotiations surrounding contract scope, cost and schedule.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Create a team environment while leading in the delivery of operational excellence and financial performance, ensuring profitable services engagements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with sales, PS, internal support organizations, customers, OEMs and partners.
  • Exercise comprehensive knowledge of WWT’s professional service capabilities and continuously work to identify relevant ways these capabilities can be positioned to serve the customer.
  • Develop and execute staffing plans to ensure successful delivery of services.
  • Be the focal point of Professional Services escalation within your region.
  • Track the financial performance of services and make suggestions to minimize risk and increase GP where possible.
  • Promote and provide leadership in our core values (trust, humility, embrace change, passion and a strong work ethic, positive attitude, team player and honesty and integrity) to foster a positive work environment and high-performance teams.
  • Provide vision and direction to your team and conduct strategic planning.
  • Provide management support of your team and function.
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc financial and operational reporting as needed.
  • Continually analyze the business for process improvements and new opportunities.
