OpenKyber has an Immediate Need for a (40% Remote) ServiceNow Software Engineer (CMDB) able to work on-site (tues, weds, thurs) in either Philadelphia, PA; Charlotte, NC; Scottsdale, AZ; or Plao, TX. This will be an estimated "6 Month Contract to Permanent Hire" opportunity, supporting one of our Largest Healthcare Clients on the East Coast. Requirements

• Perm-Resident, -EAD (Eligibility)
• 5+ Years of ServiceNow Development / Engineering
• ServiceNow CMDB Expertise
• Experience with ServiceNow Platform & CMDB Development & Engineering
• Strong Experience with Design, engineer, configure, and support CMDB functionality within an increasingly complex ServiceNow platform landscape.
• Strong Experience Building CMDB solutions aligned with ServiceNow best practices, performance standards, and long-term platform roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, configure, and enhance ServiceNow functionality.
• Develop custom ServiceNow solutions.
• Build workflows, UI improvements, and platform enhancements.
• Support platform upgrades.
• Deliver ServiceNow capabilities specifically for CMDB and related business needs.
• Potentially assist the enterprise platform team during periods of lower demand.
• Support the implementation, optimization, and adoption of advanced ServiceNow capabilities, including Now Assist and AI-driven features.
• Ensure CMDB-related services remain stable, secure, resilient, and scalable as adoption and dependency continue to grow.
• Provide dedicated engineering coverage where broader ServiceNow platform teams are capacity constrained.
• Accelerate delivery by reducing cycle time for enhancements, fixes, upgrades, and client requests impacting CMDB-dependent workflows.
• Identify and reduce technical debt to improve maintainability, reliability, and future extensibility of the platform.
• Support ongoing operational excellence for CMDB-related services.
• Partner closely with CMDB governance, operations, platform, and client teams to translate requirements into durable, enterprise-grade technical implementations.
• Act as a trusted engineering advisor for CMDB-related design decisions, trade-offs, and roadmap planning.
• Enable safe and scalable adoption of new ServiceNow capabilities across the organization.
