About The Position

TENICA is seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow (SNOW) Test Engineer to support a mission-critical Intelligence Community (IC) customer. This role is ideal for a technical professional with deep expertise in testing SNOW applications, workflows, and integrations across complex, multi-contractor environments. The SNOW Test Engineer will play a pivotal role in validating mission-critical systems, developing automated tests, and ensuring the integrity and performance of the SNOW platform. This position requires hands-on technical proficiency, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph (required).
  • Minimum of 13 years of professional experience, with demonstrated expertise in testing SNOW applications and workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and methodologies, particularly for ServiceNow platforms.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across multiple teams and contractors.
  • Effective communicator capable of explaining complex testing procedures and results to leadership and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Intelligence Community (IC) environments, including mission-critical workflows and IT systems.
  • Strong understanding of SNOW modules, workflow automation, and integration best practices.
  • Experience with testing management tools such as Automated Test Framework or equivalent automated SNOW testing tools.
  • Relevant certifications, e.g., Certified Application Specialist (SNOW) or ISTQB Foundation Level Certification in Software Testing.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive testing of SNOW applications and workflows to identify, document, and escalate bugs and issues across all modules and functionalities.
  • Develop and execute automated testing scripts, minimizing manual testing cycles and ensuring consistent system performance.
  • Validate SNOW design and development solutions, ensuring workflows meet requirements and align with best practices.
  • Define, refine, and implement testing procedures and methodologies to optimize reliability and functionality of workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to confirm issue resolution and retest systems to ensure fixes are effective.
  • Track and report test results, providing metrics and insights to leadership to guide platform improvements.
  • Work with multiple contractor teams to ensure seamless testing integration for interconnected systems and workflows.
  • Participate in technical reviews, design workshops, and status meetings to align testing efforts with program objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, administrators, and leadership to ensure transparent communication and efficient testing processes.
