About The Position

TEKsystems has a contract role for 4-8 months (covering an internal employee on leave) for a ServiceNow HRSD Developer. Our client is seeking a Senior Developer / Business Analyst to support their ServiceNow HRSD platform during a Workday HR implementation. This role will split responsibilities between day to day production support (20%) and project based work (80%), primarily focused on a major enterprise initiative to implement Workday as their core HCM system. As part of this program, the developer / analyst will play a key role in rebuilding integrations and redesigning their onboarding solution within ServiceNow. This individual must be highly skilled in ServiceNow configuration and workflow design while also demonstrating strong business analysis capabilities, communication skills, and the ability to work independently. The role is currently funded through July 31, but there's an excellent chance it will be extended, possibly for up to 10 months.

Requirements

  • Hands on experience building complex workflows using ServiceNow Flow Designer
  • Minimum 3 years of ServiceNow administration and/or development experience
  • Demonstrated experience developing custom Script Includes within ServiceNow
  • Intermediate or higher proficiency in JavaScript
  • Strong experience building REST API transactions within ServiceNow
  • 5+ years of business analysis experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of hands on ServiceNow experience across configuration, development, or functional roles.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience designing or maintaining integrations using SOAP and REST
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow pre built Spokes within IntegrationHub
  • Experience working with Lifecycle Events for HRSD, including: o Document templates o Provisioning workflows o Data collection o Case and task orchestration
  • Experience in HR Service Delivery (HRSD) environments preferred.
  • Exposure to Workday or other HCM systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily operational support for the ServiceNow platform, including triage and resolution of incidents, service requests, and enhancement tickets.
  • Troubleshoot workflow, integration, and configuration issues.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to maintain platform stability and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Serve as a key ServiceNow business analyst supporting our enterprise Workday implementation.
  • Lead efforts to rebuild and enhance integrations between Workday and ServiceNow, including onboarding and HR lifecycle processes.
  • Redesign and modernize existing onboarding workflows, forms, logic, and process automation in ServiceNow.
  • Collaborate closely with HR, IT, and implementation partners to ensure alignment of business processes and technical architecture.
  • Support end to end testing, release planning, and deployment activities for all ServiceNow enhancements tied to the Workday initiative.
  • Lead and facilitate requirements gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Document business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct system testing, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure high quality releases.
  • Partner with developers, architects, and business owners to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Maintain documentation, release notes, and knowledge articles.
  • Provide consultative guidance to stakeholders and influence solution design.
  • Operate autonomously with a strong solution oriented approach and healthy attention to detail.
