About The Position

Choice Hotels, one of the world’s largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting new opportunity as our ServiceNow Engineer 3 as part of the Service Management team. The Service Management team is the team that is responsible for the governance and oversight of Choice Hotel’s IT functions as part of a larger Risk Management function. As a key member of our Service Management team, you will support the implementation and maintenance of key IT Systems including ServiceNow and related components (e.g., business rules, screen tailoring, workflow administration, reporting, data imports, service catalog development, custom scripting, and third-party software integrations) for Choice Hotels. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years’ experience in ServiceNow development
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively evaluate information and data to make decisions
• Able to work both independently, as well as collaboratively, in achieving results within established timeframes with minimal supervision
• Demonstrates key competencies to include: Cultivating innovation Driving results Being action oriented

Responsibilities

• Performing as a key contributor in the design, development, implementation, and support of the ServiceNow platform.
• Owning release level estimation for development activities.
• Taking ownership of complex business requirements and working them to completion.
• Reviewing opportunities for process enhancements and recommending potential solutions.
• Ensuring tools are designed and implemented based on industry best practices and in accordance with Choice standards and challenging standards when appropriate.
