About The Position

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to support mission-critical systems in a secure DoD/federal environment. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and strong hands-on experience developing, configuring, and enhancing ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong scripting skills, and experience working in enterprise-scale or government environments.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI Clearance (required)
• 4+ years of relevant ServiceNow development experience
• Demonstrated experience developing ServiceNow solutions in DoD, federal, or large enterprise environments
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow configuration, customization, and platform architecture
• Experience supporting ServiceNow in a secure or regulated environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• Additional ServiceNow certifications (CAD, CIS, etc.)
• Experience with ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, or custom application development
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with external enterprise systems

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and platform components
• Customize ServiceNow modules including (but not limited to): ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Portal, and Workflow/Flow Designer
• Develop and maintain scripts using JavaScript, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions
• Build and manage integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and MID Servers
• Support ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and platform enhancements
• Collaborate with system owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
• Ensure solutions align with DoD and federal security, compliance, and governance standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues while ensuring system performance and reliability
• Document technical designs, configurations, and operational procedures
