About The Position

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a ServiceNow Architect with a Top Secret Clearance, eligible for TS/SCI, and willing to work in the Omaha, Nebraska area. This role involves leading the design, architecture, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions aligned with enterprise standards and business objectives. The architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the ServiceNow platform to ensure efficient ITSM processes and enhance user experience. This includes translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable configurations and integrations, defining the platform architecture roadmap, and providing expert guidance on best practices. The role also involves overseeing development activities, collaborating with stakeholders, designing and optimizing integrations, conducting technical reviews, ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements, leading troubleshooting efforts, and developing architectural documentation. Additionally, the architect will champion platform governance, guide and mentor developers and administrators, and stay current with ServiceNow releases and trends. Specific expertise in ITOM/ITAM/ITSM is required, including leading end-to-end ITOM implementations, defining CMDB data models and governance, architecting discovery patterns, integrating ITOM data with other modules, and establishing patterns for AIOps. The architect will advise leadership on operational readiness and ITOM roadmap development.

Requirements

• Must have Top Secret Clearance
• Must be TS/SCI eligible
• Must be willing to work in Omaha Nebraska area
• Expert-level knowledge in ServiceNow platform architecture, design, and implementation.
• Experience with ITSM, ITOM, ITAM processes and modules.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and IntegrationHub.
• Experience with CMDB data modeling, CI class standards, and governance.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow best practices for platform performance, security, and data model design.
• Experience with ServiceNow development lifecycle, including update set management and instance strategy.
• Ability to develop and maintain architectural documentation.
• Experience in troubleshooting complex platform issues.
• Familiarity with security, audit, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience with AIOps, event correlation, and automation workflows.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow releases, new capabilities, and industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions aligned with enterprise standards and business objectives.
• Designs, develops, and maintains ServiceNow platform to ensure efficient ITSM processes and enhance the overall user experience.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable ServiceNow configurations and integrations.
• Define and maintain the ServiceNow platform architecture roadmap, guiding long-term platform growth and governance.
• Provide expert-level guidance on ServiceNow best practices, including platform performance, security, data model design, and upgrade planning.
• Oversee development activities and ensure technical designs are implemented according to architectural standards.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, validate solution designs, and provide strategic platform recommendations.
• Design and optimize integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, MID Server, IntegrationHub, or other technologies.
• Conduct technical reviews, code reviews, and architectural assessments to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Ensure platform compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex platform issues and provide advanced technical escalation support.
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including data models, system diagrams, and configuration standards.
• Champion platform governance, including CMDB health, update set management, development lifecycle best practices, and instance strategy.
• Guide and mentor ServiceNow developers and administrators, promoting continual learning and technical excellence.
• Stay current with ServiceNow releases, new capabilities, and industry trends, advising leadership on opportunities to leverage them.
• Support solutioning efforts by creating high-level designs, estimates, and architectural recommendations.
• Designs, develops, and customizes ServiceNow applications, modules, and integrations to meet business needs.
• Creates and configures workflows, business rules, UI policies, and notifications.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
• Architect and lead end‐to‐end ITOM implementations, including Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB, Event Management, and AIOps.
• Define CMDB data models, CI class standards, relationship strategies, and governance rules across the enterprise.
• Drive maturity programs for CMDB health, reconciliation, data quality, and service dependency mapping.
• Architect large‐scale Discovery patterns, MID Server strategies, scanning frameworks, and credential management processes.
• Integrate ITOM data with ITSM, SecOps, Observability.
• Lead architectural design for automation workflows using Orchestration, IntegrationHub, and cloud-native integrations.
• Establish patterns for AIOps event correlation, noise reduction, alert enrichment, and topology‐driven automation.
• Advise leadership on operational readiness, service modeling strategies, and ITOM roadmap development.
