About The Position

PAM Transport is looking for service writer applicants with experience in customer service and fleet maintenance to take our shop communication to the next level. This role is responsible for coordinating activities to ensure repair work is fixed right the first time and completed on time. The Service Writer will answer incoming telephone calls and emails promptly and courteously, making every effort to satisfy the requested inquiry. They will also keep drivers and operations informed of required services and completion times, and work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize work tasks and respond to driver’s needs in a timely manner. Responsibilities include attention to detail and work order management, parts billing and retrieval for technicians, and warranty retention and organization.

Requirements

At least one year of experience as an automotive or fleet Service Advisor, Assistant Lane Manager or Service Consultant
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
