About The Position

The Service Writer is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Maintenance and Fleet departments in a well-organized and timely manner. This role ensures efficient coordination of work orders, personnel logistics, and documentation, while supporting overall operational efficiency and compliance with company standards.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in an administrative or support role required
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard office systems
  • High level verbal and written communication skills with ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce or work order systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain work orders ensuring all required parts and labor are allocated correctly
  • Review incoming work order requests and assist in coordination of services
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and lodging for Fleet Service personnel as needed
  • Perform administrative and data entry functions within work order systems for Fleet and Maintenance operations
  • Maintain departmental work schedules and support operational planning
  • Assist with tracking equipment certifications and maintaining associated records
  • Track internal and external certifications for Fleet personnel
  • Confirm receivables and process associated documentation
  • Support revisions of Fleet Services practices and policies to improve efficiency
  • Adhere to and enforce the company Quality Management System
  • Assist in Fleet process development initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned by management
