About The Position

This is a full-time opportunity for a Service Writer Customer Support Representative to join an industry leader. The role involves maintaining a high level of customer service, utilizing computer systems for customer updates and invoice processing, and handling service-related concerns. The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers in person, over the phone, and via computer. A key responsibility is writing clear and informative repair orders.

Requirements

  • Diesel technician background a plus
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • ASE certifications strongly encouraged
  • CDL is a Plus
  • Ability to create professional relationships with customers
  • Ability to stay self-motivated
  • Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years.
  • No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (ie., DUI/DWI).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • The associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit.
  • The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance
  • The associate must be able to read and write reports.
  • Must be able to obtain DOT medcard

Responsibilities

  • Retail focus – Customer Relationship
  • Solicit sale of new or additional services
  • Strong Data Entry Skills
  • Utilizes computer system for updating customers on ongoing repairs in shop or field, processing service invoices to include warranty claims.
  • Communicating with customer in person, over the phone and using computer
  • Handle/resolve service-related concerns
  • Responsible for writing clear and informative repair orders
