About The Position
The Service Worker is responsible for the cleaning and fueling of all district vehicles.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Successful candidates for this position will have or be willing to gain experience in vehicle cleaning and detailing.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, in the English language.
- Must be willing to work on Saturdays.
- Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Assimilate information quickly and accurately.
- Travel as needed to conduct district business.
- Must have a working vehicle to travel within the service area.
Nice To Haves
- one or more years of experience cleaning/detailing vehicles
- one or more years in a lead/supervisory role
Responsibilities
- Report to work on time and in proper uniform as determined by Connect
- Safely operate all tools and machinery required to perform work duties
- Maintain a strong attendance record
- Communicate effectively.
- Maintain a good rapport with the general public and all employees.
- Detailed cleaning of all district vehicles
- Follow company safety and operational rules and procedures.
- Special projects related to cleaning vehicles
- Report safety and personnel problems to Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor in a timely manner
- Maintain proper cleaning supply inventory at all times
- Other duties as assigned
