About The Position

Waibel Energy Systems is seeking a highly organized and dependable Service Warehouse Operator to manage the day-to-day operations of their tool crib, shop warehouse, and a portion of their fleet vehicles and trailers. This role is crucial for ensuring teams have reliable access to properly maintained tools, equipment, and vehicles. The position also involves building maintenance work order execution and operation. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of inventory management skills, mechanical aptitude, and a keen eye for detail.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with HVAC construction industry and processes
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
• Working proficiency with hand held computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad)
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and follow-up skills
• Strong organizational, record-keeping and knowledge of hand/power tools
• Ability to prioritize workload
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as needed to complete reports and other documentation
• Forklift certification
• Must pass a background check
• Valid Driver’s License with no major traffic violations, suspensions, or DUI’s in the previous 5 years.
• Availability to work additional hours beyond normal business hours

Responsibilities

• Oversee the organization and operation of the tool crib and shop warehouse.
• Issue and receive tools/equipment using a structured check-in/check-out system.
• Maintain accurate records of tool inventory and tracking.
• Perform regular inspections, routine maintenance, and minor repairs of tools/equipment.
• Perform regular inspections, routine maintenance, and minor repairs of WES buildings.
• Coordinate tool calibrations, repairs, and service with vendors.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient storage environment.
• Assist with scheduling and tracking maintenance, inspections, and registrations for a designated portion of company vehicles and trailers.
• Attend monthly department meetings.
• Participate in meetings and training as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
