About The Position

As a Service Valet, you’re one of the most important members at Norm Reeves Ford. You are responsible for creating a great service experience for our guests and ensuring all guest vehicles are washed and handled with excellent care. Your positivity and attention to detail are what keep our guests coming back time after time. This is an ideal entry-level position for someone eager and motivated to begin a career in the automotive service industry. Norm Reeves Ford believes in continuous education, promotes from within and is seeking those with a true passion for working at a dealership long term.

Requirements

Full time availability.
At least 18 years old
A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Experience driving a range of vehicles; manual transmission a plus.
Exceptional commitment to safety
Strong sense of accountability
Excellent communication and a positive attitude
An eye for presentation and detail

Responsibilities

Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat attitude, answers their questions, and directs them to the appropriate person or location
Controls service traffic flow and parking
Determines if customers coming into service have an appointment
Records customer’s name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage
Assists service advisors when needed
Maintains a clean and safe service drive area, free of dirt, water, leaves, snow, etc.
Maintains a professional appearance
Place vehicle Interior Protection in each vehicle
Tag keys and place mirror tags in all vehicles
Move vehicles to appointed parking area and ensure all windows are up and all vehicles are locked
Adhere to all customer service processes
Fill in for shuttle drivers as needed
Bring customers’ vehicles to the front of service drive when directed
Ensure customers’ vehicle is free of dirt and grease from their service visit
Guides vehicles through the car wash
Light lifting duties when needed
