About The Position

#1 Cochran has an immediate opening in Boardman for a Nissan Certified Technician. They are looking for an experienced flat rate technician to join their growing team. #1 Cochran is the leading automotive retailer in the tri-state area, with over 1500 team members being their greatest asset and driving force behind their success.

Requirements

• Previous automotive service experience
• Strong automotive background with experience working flat-rate
• Strong teamwork skills
• Candidate should have tools necessary for the duties of the position

Nice To Haves

• ASE certifications are ideal
• Transmission Experience a Plus!

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
