Requirements

  • Demonstrated field installation expertise.
  • Ability to comply with all customer requirements for onsite work, including background checks and drug tests.
  • Mechanical and electrical inclination.
  • Technical degree/Trade diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Ability to collaborate and problem solve with other intercompany departments.
  • Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales on customer initiatives, training and other business development related activities.
  • Assist and collaborate sales team with responses to technical requests and documentation support (time tickets, combustion reports).
  • Provide weekly status updates on open sales orders and direct completion activities as required.
  • Become subject matter expert on all Profire products. Train with manager, peers, technicians, engineering and self.
  • Ensure accurate, safe, efficient and professional service on and with Profire products: Installations, Burner Maintenance, Combustion Analysis, Warranty & Repair.
  • Interface with customers in a collaborative manner.
  • Provide professional and accurate technical support to customers and users of Profire products.
  • Be available to provide technical support, facilitation of customer service call outs including after hours and weekends.
  • Ensure that all service tickets and work orders are complete and accurate.
  • Ensure profitability of service team by properly billing out technicians for all installation, service call, burner maintenance etc.
  • Work to ensure end of month closure for all service projects to ensure timely customer invoicing.
  • Contribute to the sales process within territory by attending meetings when required and ensuring service team conveys professionalism, reliability and accuracy.
  • Coordinate effort with Regional Sales Manager and Territory Sales reps.
  • Work with our Business Development group in seeking out new opportunities outside of oil and gas.
  • Participate in the sales process including quoting, initial implementation and service follow-up.
  • Train installation partners on Profire Installations, operation and trouble shooting.
  • Monitor technician inventory levels.
  • Responsible for post-installation follow-up with customers.
  • Conduct field completion and work evaluation of technician work to ensure brand standard is achieved.
  • Report sales referrals to Regional Sales Manager.
  • Ensure technician part lists are accurate and ready to perform work orders.
  • Help in the growth of our service team throughout Canada and USA.
