All technicians welcomed who have worked at other off brand services. We are looking for a Service Technician with luxury vehicle experience to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background and ASE & Ford certified. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done. Requirements

Proven experience as an automotive service technician, preferably with Lincoln vehicles
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic tools
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications are a plus
Michigan State Certified
Willingness to work in Novi, MI location
2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
ASE Certification required
Ford Certification
Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred
Previous experience working with luxury vehicles is preferred
B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Lincoln vehicles
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues accurately using diagnostic equipment and software
Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle concerns and required repairs
Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards
Keep accurate service records and documentation
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service completion
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.
Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
