Service Technician (In-house)

Requirements
- High School Graduate.
- Logical problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Basic electronic skills.
- Proficient with Windows operating systems and connectivity to peripheral devices.
- Customer focused approach.
- Self-motivated but able to collaborate within a team.
Nice To Haves
- Associates degree or equivalent experience in Electronics, Computers (programming or networking) or related technical field.
- Experience in the weighing industry, electronics or similar products.
- 6-12 months client facing experience.
- Experience with PLC’s and industrial communication.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with industrial software programming.
- Any languages in addition to English
Responsibilities
- Provide a top-level customer experience by continually improving technical knowledge and applying it to phone and email support.
- Work as part of a team to ensure a positive work environment and continually improve customer satisfaction.
- Phone & Email Support
- Troubleshooting product issues for end users, OEM customers and resellers.
- Supporting distribution partner technicians in the field.
- Assisting Minebea Intec sales staff with technical questions and product specifications.
- Providing documentation such as manuals, datasheets, drawings, etc.
- In House Repairs and testing of equipment
- Assisting with service center repairs.
- Cross-Functional Support
- Assisting technical support team, sales, customer service, quality management, finance and product management with support and projects as needed.
- Participating in warehousing duties such as shipping and receiving.
- International Travel, Trade show setup, customer site visits, inventory support.
