Green CO2 Service Technician

Discover the most interesting industry you’ve never heard of! We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various equipment and systems. This position requires excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a service technician role, preferably in a related industry
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, CDL B, and Hazmat endorsement
- The gas industry and cryogenic cylinder maintenance background and knowledge required
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment issues, read wire diagrams, and troubleshoot electric circuits
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and customer expectations
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as some travel to customer sites may be required
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software as needed
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including electrical and mechanical systems
- Coordinate and communicate with supervisors and sales on new installations and servicing of other equipment and systems
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent future issues
- Communicate with customers to provide updates on service progress and address any concerns or questions
- Maintain accurate records of service work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job
- Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and improve overall service quality
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both employees and customers
- Maintain adequate inventory on service vehicles and coordinate the ordering of products with the inventory manager
- Availability to be on-call as needed; shifts and hours may vary to accommodate company needs
- Assist the delivery department when needed. Must be proficient in operating all pumps and equipment on delivery trucks
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and advancements
- Provides support to other Cryogenic technicians as directed by the supervisor
- Perform other duties as required or assigned
