This role is designated as safety-sensitive. The Service Technician is responsible for promoting the safety culture of Agri-Service by advocating and exemplifying safe working habits. This includes using proper personal protective equipment (PPE), following company safety policies, and ensuring equipment is in a zero-energy state before servicing. The technician will also handle chemicals according to Safety Data Sheets (SDS), operate cranes within manufacturer guidelines, and use correct tooling. They will perform Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and identify potential safety concerns on equipment, reporting them to supervisors and customers. Essential functions include following customer care standards, repairing equipment in various locations, maintaining service reports using a computer, communicating with customers and supervisors, managing time efficiently with minimal supervision, and working extended hours with minimal notice. The role also involves accomplishing training, participating in company programs, following company vision and values, and demonstrating an interest in expanding skillsets. Other job-related functions may also be required.
