About The Position
This is a full-time W-2 employment opportunity for a Commercial Roofing Service Technician in Canton, Ohio. The role involves delivering service, maintenance, and repair work on low-slope and steep-slope roofs across Northeast Ohio. The job focuses on diagnosing leaks and roof failures, completing repairs and temporary weatherproofing, and ensuring clients' roofs perform optimally. This position offers varied, customer-facing work, making it ideal for individuals with a production or crew background seeking to transition into the service side of roofing.
Requirements
- Hands-on roofing experience, ideally from a service or production crew background, low-slope a strong plus.
- Ability to diagnose leaks and roof failures and complete quality repairs.
- Working knowledge of low-slope and steep-slope systems such as TPO, PVC, EPDM, coatings, and shingles.
- Comfortable working at height and accessing rooftops safely.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
