About The Position

We are hiring immediately for a full time SERVICE TECHNICIAN position. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing coffee and water equipment to ensure reliable performance and customer satisfaction. The technician will diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime. Additionally, the role requires providing exceptional customer service by educating customers on proper equipment use and preventive maintenance, and addressing technical questions or concerns. Repairs and maintenance must be performed in accordance with company quality standards and safety regulations. The technician will also maintain accurate service records by documenting completed work, equipment issues, and customer interactions while working independently with minimal supervision. This position is responsible for repairs, maintenance, and assisting in the installation of vending machines and equipment. The technician will respond to dispatch calls for machine repairs using a company-owned vehicle, call on existing customers to determine the adequacy of service, and resolve service complaints. This includes visually inspecting and listening to machines to determine causes of malfunctions, dismantling machines to gain access to problem areas, inspecting parts for wear or misalignment, removing and replacing worn or defective parts, repairing broken parts, realigning and adjusting components, and testing machine operation after repair. The role also involves reviewing inventory and ordering parts, shipping and receiving machines, and maintaining equipment inventory. Preparing machines for installation at accounts and assisting in installations and removals are also key duties. The technician will set up and operate mechanical equipment and small hand tools, such as drills, grinders, and welding torches, for machine repair. The company will consider all qualified applicants, including those with a criminal history (including relevant driving history), in a manner consistent with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Requirements

  • Previous technical and mechanical experience preferred.
  • Previous 2 years fixing coffee equipment or small appliances preferred.
