About The Position
J & J Companies, Service Division has an immediate need for a qualified Service Technician in the Lancaster Area. This is a full-time position and offers a positive, professional work environment with diverse projects. Technicians will receive cross-training in multiple fields such as electrical, mechanical, and dock & door. The company provides tools, equipment, and vehicles.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude and experience preferred
- A strong work-ethic and pride in one's performance required
- A strong, customer service-oriented mindset required
- A valid Driver's License required
- A pre-hire DOT required
- A pre-hire background check, drug screen, and DOT physical required.
Responsibilities
- Installation and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of overhead dock and door equipment including levelers
- Working understanding and familiarity with mechanical, electrical and/or hydraulic systems
- Welding and fabrication work
- General Construction (concrete, carpentry, drywall and/or demolition)
