Requirements

2+ years of automotive technician experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
Ability to diagnose problems efficiently and accurately
Comfortable using electronic diagnostic equipment and computer systems
Ability to read and understand repair orders, technical information, and service procedures
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to interruptions
Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to quality workmanship
Team-oriented attitude and willingness to continue learning
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

Perform quality maintenance and repairs according to repair orders and manufacturer specifications
Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and other vehicle components
Use diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and specialized service equipment to accurately identify vehicle concerns
Perform test drives and diagnostic testing as needed to verify repairs
Identify additional repair or maintenance needs and communicate findings to the Service Advisor
Provide accurate estimates of time and repairs needed
Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer requirements
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
Protect customer vehicles by keeping them clean and treating them with care
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
