About The Position

The Service Technician, specifically a Compressed Air Technician, is responsible for processing and completing work orders, interacting with customers daily at their physical locations, and ordering necessary equipment supplies, repair components, and general service items. The role involves reading and understanding electrical and wiring diagrams, as well as installing and repairing various manufactured brands of rotating equipment such as air compressors, vacuum pumps, and blowers. Additionally, the technician will install aluminum modular piping, observe and test newly installed systems, perform planned maintenance, and troubleshoot issues with rotating equipment. Maintaining truck stock levels is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two to three years’ minimum experience as a compressed air technician
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and wiring issues
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and compliance schematics
• Advanced mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment
• Clean driving record
• Travel throughout the state of South Carolina
