About The Position

As a Service Technician, you’ll be the hands-on expert ensuring our valve automation systems perform flawlessly in the field. Your work will directly impact the safety, uptime, and productivity of our clients’ operations. CS3 Waterworks is a solution provider for water and wastewater flow control products, equipment and systems, dedicated to the municipal waterworks market. We offer solutions for flow control valves and automation to field service or valve repair, and are a source for first-class sales, service and support.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in valve automation, industrial instrumentation, or related mechanical/electrical service work.
• Strong knowledge of flow control valves, actuators, and positioners.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
• Proficiency with hand tools, test equipment, and calibration devices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites (up to 50%).

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and commission automated valve assemblies at customer sites.
• Perform start-up services, maintenance and troubleshooting on pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic actuators.
• Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs to guide installations and repairs.
• Conduct on-site diagnostics using multimeters, pressure gauges, and control system interfaces.
• Provide technical support and training to customer maintenance teams.
• Document service activities, parts usage, and recommendations in detailed reports.
