About The Position

indiGO Auto Group is seeking a full-time Service Technician to join its Mercedes-Benz team. The role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with growth opportunities at a company representing luxury automotive brands. Compensation combines hourly pay with commissions and bonuses that vary based on productivity. The stated pay range is $65,000–$200,000 per year. Employees may also be assigned other tasks, duties, and training as directed by supervisors.

Requirements

• At least 1–2 years of Service Technician experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Completion of technical training school or a factory apprentice program.
• Ability to communicate verbally and through written documentation.
• Self-motivated and diligent.
• Positive attitude.
• Highly organized with dedicated attention to detail.
• Clear focus on delivering high-quality work.
• Willingness to submit to a drug test and criminal background check.
• Ability to be insured to operate a motor vehicle.

Nice To Haves

• Mercedes-Benz Service Technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair or service assignments from a dispatcher, advisor, team leader, or electronic technician terminal.
• Diagnose vehicles, report required work to management, and await authorization.
• Review vehicle history and applicable factory bulletins, including outstanding campaigns.
• Document proposed and additional work on paper or in the technician terminal.
• After authorization, request required parts and return parts designated to be saved by the customer or factory.
• Complete authorized repairs after parts are received and document the work.
• When required, test-drive the vehicle and restore it to its original condition, ensuring it is clean.
• Report job completion and suggested additional work to the dispatcher, advisor, team leader, or electronic technician terminal.
• Complete required and suggested training and keep records of classes and certifications.
• Follow safety guidelines, including requirements for hazardous-waste disposal.
• Keep the work area clean and maintain personal and shop tools.
